HOT POTATOES

Hot Potatoes is a tool developed for the creation of web questionnaires of all sorts, from crossword puzzles to exercises to fill in spaces in texts, using various clues or multiple-choice tests.

Basically hot potatoes allows you to make interactive assessments for students. But, I didn't like that you couldn't make the quizzes online and you also had to download it. As a plus the file was not large and the download was pretty quick. Nevertheless my computer wouldn't allow me to operate it due to virus danger.

PADLET: A BLANK WALL TO POST

Hello eveyone! Today, I am going to talk about padlet. Padlet is an application that you can create an online bulletin board you can use to display information for any topic.

When you go to padlet's website and sign-up you are given 2 options; basic and pro. After you select your membership, you can start to create your dashboard. There are various options for you to choose for your dashboard. You can add links, images, texts ad files.

Here is the dashboard I created on the go as an example:

PIXTON: EVERYONE CAN MAKE COMICS!

The world's most popular and easy to use comic and storyboard creator.

Once you go to the website, pixton gives you 3 options: for educators, for students, and for bussneses. I choose the educators option. Then like most sites, you have to sign-up. I sign-in with my gmail pretty easly. The next page has a introductory video and claims in 3 easy steps, you can make your own comic too. Even in the intro video students claim that, they would rather do comics than write essays and it is more fun to practice pixton in their lessons. Surely, pixton will grab their attention and find an outlet for them ton express their creativity.

Here you have many options for bacgrounds, characters, motions, words, faces, actions and effects.

Lastly, you can even customize your character to your will.

POWTOON
